the f-bomb, a tautogram for Oulipost

February

facing Friday’s fire,

                               first:
files, found files; feel
far (files, files, files
from files), far;
                         feel
final….
for felons/family.

Source Ward, Mike, and Hassan, Anita. "29 Sex Felons Vacating House.’" Houston Chronicle 5 Apr. 2014: A1, A12.

Note:
I decided to limit myself to one article and this one jumped out at me. Probably, in part because this is a continuation of a story I used in another found poetry a couple of days ago. Also, I like the f-sound, which is another reason this probably leaped out at me.

Here is the prompt I was responding to. Short and sweet, which is at least half like my poem:

Compose a poem whose words — or at least the principal ones — all begin with the same letter. The words must be sourced from your newspaper.

I quite like this. Sometimes succinct is more challenging than anything, I think. This really works.
